extreme(ly) large pic post: construction edition

i tell you what. this group of guys almost looked like they had a clue this week. and if they were fakin' it, i couldn't tell. never let 'em see you sweat boys!

random dude #1. but, random dude had the right idea. bet his pants don't look like he crapped 'em.

random dude #2 and #3. random dude #3: "is that beth comer takin' our picture? i hear she's gonna be a famous photographer one day." (heehee-gotta have dreams)

random dude #4

i love me a good foot shot. don't you think they tell you the story. in a weird "if a shoe could talk",kinda way.

"i call this meeting of the red hat society to order. first order of business, does anyone know how to build a house in 5 days? anyone? no?"

"okay then. brad, you go hide behind that tree and text this number. don't let anyone of the workers see you. and whatever you do, don't panic. act cool. act cool."

just kiddin'...schedule scottie to the rescue. i knew it would come in handy one day baby.

you know he's dreamin' of me right? or probably more like a double decker pb&j with a jug of chocolate milk to wash it down.

"look, brad. that brick layer has a plumber's crack. how funny is that? (snort, snort)

"watch out for those pipes, mr. mayor whom i don't know your name." (but, i'm sure that's not 'cause you're a bad mayor or anything.:0)

i love these, don't know why exactly, but i do.

true humility is...

lettin' your wife do your braggin'. just kiddin'. not really. i wouldn't call it braggin'. i'm just proud of my man. and, i rarely say that aloud. so, that's why bloggin' it made perfect sense. (blogger. when you care enough to send the very best.)

we had so much fun at the wrap party last night. lori and forrest got to go with us. and, i'm gonna try and blog some pics from yesterday, this afternoon. but i just wanted to post this real quick.

i had never seen this video. someone asked me 'bout it last night, and so, i watched it. it really doesn't amount to a "hill of beans." (remember...kentucky.) but it just kinda gives the picture of how much this whole extremey homey thingy meant to scottie. the producers were tryin' to get scottie to commit to doin' a show next season. (guess they know a sucka when they see one.)
estridge video

(he would kill me if he knew i was posting this. and i guess that's what i love about him. but, you know me, i don't care. so proud of you, baby. omgoodness! who said that?)

can i getta, "move that bus?!"

i must preface this post with one thing. we have been in constant prayer that God receive all glory in this project.

okay. so, here's the scene...

saturday was scheduled as, "demo day" for this extreme thingy home thingy. (just kidding around. i'm actually like the most supportive, bring my husband his chocolate milk and slippers when he gets home," kinda wife.:0 you believe me right?) but...it didn't happen. the start of the project was pushed back to sunday. how did that happen? hmmmmm. saturday's weather was dry and warm. sunday's, however, was not. cold, cold rain. that's what we got on sunday. cold, cold rain. and really, does it get any better than cold rain?

anyway, we were there to do some filming for the show that will air in may. we skipped church to go stand out in the (you guessed it), cold rain for four hours. some of us were waitin' for the rest of the people to be bussed over. and, on the corner of the street we all were waiting on, there was a little, old church. and they had already started service. hmmmm. how did that happen? then, someone from the congregation invited everyone to come in out of the, (i won't even say cold, rain again.)nasty weather. hmmmm. why did that happen? as everyone else was arriving, they didn't even think twice before goin' in. i'm guessin' they all thought they were supposed to be waitin' in the church service. hmmmm. don't you wonder how that happened?

you really wanna know why? i'll tell you why. because my God is, undoubtedly, the coolest. that's why.
and, when the four or five hundred people crammed their bodies into that little, old church, they flat laid it all out. never skipped a beat. they presented the full gospel and shared testimonies, and worshipped like they were at the foot of Jesus. this girl(that's me), 'bout started dancin' in the isles.

now how's that for, "to God be the glory?"

here's some pictures the photographer got from this day...
