on a hill far away

that's a big, fat lie. there aren't any hills in indiana. it was more of a large-ish mound. and, it wasn't far away. it was about 3 miles northwest.

i would say we went sledding on the close-by mound. but, that would be another big, fat lie. i just took pics until my thumb lost feelin' and i could no longer turn the dial on my camera. and, will didn't go sledding either. because, let's face it...

seven-year-olds of any importance, rock the plastic snowboard.

except when they don't.

but, they always get back up.

and they never have snot runnin' down their face.

and they would never be seen being carried up a mound, by their daddy.

two year olds. geez.

no hammocks were harmed...

in the making of this video. that we know of.

a typical thanksgiving, it was not. but, soooo thankful, nonetheless.

funny thing is though, you can lie in a hammock in your own backyard. you can watch your favorite team play from the comfort of your oversized chair, while you fast forward through the commercials.

you can get a tamale to-go, pour a margarita on your own rocks, and even make your own (extremely awesome) salsa. you can take your kids out of school and hang-out together. yes, you could do all this, and still make it to your folks, in time for turkey dinner with the fam.

nah.

i'll cry away.

in a laundry room...

boys3

in a basket...

boys2

in a mason jar...

boys4
there lies...

boys
evidence.

evidence, that, in this home, little boys abide.

evidence that there is probably a mommy that abides, as well. a mommy that cleans out their little pockets before she launders all their dirty little jeans.

and, it could be assumed that these pictures are evidence.

evidence that the mommy of these little boys was feelin' sentimental, today. because she knows something. she knows that one sad morning, she will...

walk in this laundry room...

boys3

and look in this basket...

boys2

and there will be no more evidence. and, there will be no more dirty lil' jeans to launder.

and on this, "one sad morning." "i'll cry away."

*of course, there is a bright side. the above mentioned mom won't have to walk in the office the morning after a babysitter was here, and clean up this evidence.

evidence that one of the above mentioned boys (can you guess which one?) got into the cool whip. sorry kelsey. gotta stay on them toes 'round little boys. :)
